The blinds in our living room were closed and they were not the direction that I usually turned them. Normally I wouldn't care but these were white blinds that had kind of yellowed on one side so I usually just turned them so the yellow was facing out. Well I had not been the one to shut them that night. So I just walked over to them and changed it not having any idea that the other roommate cared. Right after I did it she said, "Doesn't it insulate better if they are turned the other way?"
Me, calmly: "I don't see how that would make a difference."
Her: "Why do you always have to have the last word?"
Me, still calmly: "I'm sorry, I didn't know you felt that way."
Her: "See what I mean!"
Me, now kind of mad: "I just apologized to you! If you can't take that I don't know what to tell you!"
She then stomped up the stairs and I being very sassy, yelled "Goodnight!"
I guess I do have to have the last word. :-)

I love your roommate stories! Thanks for coming to the indescribably exciting vacuum demonstration that other day! You're such a good sport!
Ahh, the joys of roommates. Thanks for the flashback.
Girl, if we ever were roomies I always have to have the last word! Although, I have a feeling I have matured...maybe not. Yikes!!!
